Importancia de la inteligencia emocional para desarrollar habilidades socioemocionales en los docentes

RESUMEN

Las competencias emocionales del docente frente a un determinado equipo se deben consolidar en las acciones profesionales, puesto que los maestros desarrollan una labor más allá del cumplimiento y desarrollo del currículo y sus repercusiones de éste proceso se manifiestan en estrategias que realiza para concretar su tarea y las relaciones con sus estudiantes. Para lograr su formación, el educador debe concienciar y cualificar su función y buscar un desarrollo tanto profesional como personal. En este trabajo se presentan algunos aportes teóricos sobre el tema, que al respecto nos proporcionan información sobre la urgente necesidad de atender un proceso de formación más completa e integral del docente, considerando que a partir de un buen desarrollo personal del docente se conseguirán mejores resultados de aprendizajes.

ABSTRACT

The emotional competencies of the teacher in front of a given team must be consolidated in professional actions, since teachers develop a task beyond the fulfillment and development of

the curriculum and its repercussions of this process are manifested in the strategies they carry out to carry out their task and the relationships with their students. In order to achieve their training, educators must be aware of, qualify their role, and seek both professional and personal development. This paper presents some theoretical contributions on the subject, which provide us with information on the urgent need to attend to a more complete and integral teacher training process, considering that better learning results will be achieved from a good personal development of the teacher.
