SISTEMA INTELIGENTE DE NOTIFICACIÓN DE VISITAS “DOORSNAP»

Resumen

En el contexto de creciente digitalización y necesidad de seguridad eficiente en entornos residenciales y educativos, presentamos el desarrollo de DoorSnap, un sistema inteligente para la notificación y gestión remota de visitas. El sistema integra tecnologías IoT, captura visual mediante cámaras ESP32-CAM y notificaciones push en dispositivos móviles. El prototipo fue validado en condiciones reales, superando metas de rendimiento y satisfacción del usuario. Además, incluye innovaciones sociales para accesibilidad de personas con discapacidad auditiva. Este estudio aporta un sistema inclusivo, escalable y adaptable, alineado a tendencias globales en domótica y seguridad inteligente.

Abstract

The context of increasing digitalization and the growing need for efficient security in residential and educational environments, we present the development of DoorSnap, an intelligent system for remote visit notification and management. The system integrates IoT technologies, visual capture through ESP32-CAM cameras, and push notifications on mobile devices. The prototype was validated under real conditions, exceeding performance goals and user satisfaction expectations. In addition, it includes social innovations to improve accessibility for people with hearing disabilities. This study contributes an inclusive, scalable, and adaptable system, aligned with global trends in smart home automation and intelligent security.
